The Company:
Sleepy Giant runs persistent online games and communities of all sizes. We specialize in working with game studios to get their games to market, through a blend of strategic planning, smart design, cutting edge technologies, rock solid operations and real-time marketing. Our team takes an analytical approach to games; matching and supporting our creative counterparts at development studios. Some of the partners we work with include Activision, Disney, SeaWorld and THQ.
The Role:
This position will work with the dev team to manage the launch and maintenance of multiple game infrastructure launches and various related projects. You will manage large/small projects/tasks which will require working with multiple organization levels and groups including network operations, engineering staff, project management teams both internal and external.
Our Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience as a web project manager (web services PM experience a plus!).
* Experience with agile project management.
* Enjoy working with clients and managing client relationships.
* Have demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and achieving objectives on schedule and within budget.
Bonus Points For:
* SCRUM master certification.
* Software development background.
* Game industry experience working on portals or game sites is a plus!
* Product manager experience for large interactive website properties (match.com, ecommerce sites)
