The Company:
Sleepy Giant runs persistent online games and communities of all sizes. We specialize in working with game studios to get their games to market, through a blend of strategic planning, smart design, cutting edge technologies, rock solid operations and real-time marketing. Our team takes an analytical approach to games; matching and supporting our creative counterparts at development studios. Some of the partners we work with include Activision, Disney, SeaWorld and THQ.
The Role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced senior level technical consultant. This individual will perform needs/GAP analysis, work with various technical/non-technical groups to help architect, design, and support the implementation various subsystems involved in online production environments for video games.
What You'll Do:
* Serve as a technical expert representative across teams, clients, and partners
* Offer technical support across practices in offering definition and positioning
* Suggest alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and/or longer life
* Promote and coordinate technical knowledge harvesting within the organization
* Define, communicate and enforce best practices and standards
* Track and identify new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings
* Assist in strategic sales efforts from a technical perspective
* Consistently deliver high-quality services to our clients
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in the social, mobile or video industry
* Solid experience of new technologies and solutions
* Strong experience in consulting type engagements with clients
* Experience in software development / coding
* Excellent communication, administrative and documentation skills
