Who we are:
What does Limelight (Nasdaq: LLNW) Network Video Platform Solutions team do? We work with online video delivery and management. Ever streamed a movie online, watched Netflix or NFL replays – you probably used our technology – cool right?
The role:
We're looking for someone who enjoys writing user-facing code, has strong skills in an OO language like Java, C++, or C#, and is interested in working with ActionScript. You'll be helping us add new functionality to our console; we'll give you mockups and you'll layout the controls, build the logic, and connect APIs. We aren't looking for a Flash animator or a designer-- we need someone who can write solid OO code and perhaps occasionally dabble with MXML.
We want to talk to you if:
- You hold a BS/BA degree Computer Science or a similar field
- You have 2+ years of experience in the software industry. Write code in your spare time for fun? Or run a personal project online? Even better!
- You have strong coding skills in an Object Oriented language like Java, C#, C++ and like your code to be maintainable, logical and reusable whenever feasible.
- You have professional experience working with an API.
- You are interested in working with and learning Actionscript – if you already have experience – great!
