The Company:
Let's face it - hospital software is terrible. Most of the code was built in the 70's - pre-dating relational databases, Atari, and... MC Hammer... But it doesn't have to be terrible anymore. Blueprint Health is making Healthcare IT sexy by replacing antiquated systems in hospitals with modern, well-designed, well-crafted, beautiful software. We're armed with deep healthcare and software industry experience, $6m+ (recently funded!) in the bank from strategic investors, large Alpha hospital customers, and God-level access to many more hospitals.

The Role:
We'll be building software for a sector that hasn't seen modern software in over 50 years. Along the way we'll be unlocking one of the most valuable datasets that's locked today, and opening critical communication channels between hospitals, doctors and patients.
As Senior JavaScript Engineer your role will be to:
* Write an extremely error tolerant front end, combining a variety of UIs into one coherent experience.
* Implement front end designs that target just a single browser (really!). We can target a single browser so no Internet Explorer headaches.
* Help us shape our engineering team as well as our product by participating in architecture and hiring decisions.
* Create a variety of different UIs using Backbone.js and d3.js. The UI's will talk to a private API.
Our Ideal Candidate:
* Has a strong background in JavaScript engineering. If you have links to a project/portfolio - we love links.
* Is well versed in web development using HTML5/CSS3.
* Has API experience.
* Has JavaScript framework experience (we're using Backbone.js or d3.js now).
