The Company:
The Sourcery is a Recruiting-as-a-Service (RaaS) company for small to medium sized businesses. We're a new style of recruiting service that charges by the hour for our time. When you need to hire, turn us on. When you're done with us, turn us off.
The Role:
The Associate Technical Recruiter is an entry - mid level role and a perfect place to begin a career in technology recruiting. Most of your responsibilities will include finding hidden talent through various techniques, filtering applicants and phone screening those you feel qualified for the variety of positions we are looking to fill. These roles are mostly technical engineering roles, but a few include non-technical roles as well.
Responsibilities:
* We spend lots of time online hunting down potential candidates for our clients - folks who look like they might be a good fit for a position we're trying to fill - then contacting them
*Partner with Account Managers to understand the clients’ vision of the ideal candidate
*Propose and implement ongoing improvements in the Sourcery’s recruitment efforts.
*Teamwork is a MUST!
Requirements:
* Strong desire to learn technical roles and not afraid to do after hours work to get up to speed
* Has at least one year experience in an office environment - ideally in one with a lot of personal interaction
* Involvement in an internal recruiting environment a plus
* Has great interpersonal skills. We're on the phone. A lot.
* Enjoys the thrill of the chase. We work on hard to fill roles but celebrate finding every one of them!
*Strong time management skills. We have going on at once and we need someone with strong prioritization skills.
* Roll up your sleeves attitude with a sense of urgency, and a friendly, diplomatic demeanor
* Self motivation, strong time management, and organization skills
* 4 year University degree or equivalent work experience
