Anthony is the recruiting equivalent of the Juggernaut; an unstoppable force in talent acquisition. He is also a published author who is passionate about Warriors basketball, fantasy novels, MMA, and Survivor.

Carmen spends her time with her family, friends, fostering great danes, and helping clients find great talent. A self-proclaimed geek, she loves learning about the latest in technology, and in a previous life worked with a company that managed the Star Wars and Star Trek fan clubs


Christina Ngo


Christina is a culinary enthusiast and food blogger. She loves to travel, immersing herself in other cultures, and going to live music events. She is currently based out of Miami and in her downtime, she enjoys caring for her plants and dog (boxer mix), creating recipes, and swimming at the pool or beach.

Ciara is an integral part of the team. From working directly with clients to handling multiple projects at once, she’s our in-house Jack of all trades! When not working her magic for The Sourcery, Ciara can be found curled up reading one of the latest thriller books or going on adventures with her family!

David is a published children’s author, likes to hike, wishes he had a tree house, and loves blues and soul music, especially the music of Etta James!


Jessica Stielau


Jessica Stielau is founder and CEO of The Sourcery. Putting her scientific background to perfect use, Jessica has been obsessed with improving recruitment work since she first joined the firm that preceded The Sourcery. Less than a year later, under her leadership and guidance, The Sourcery discovered its sweet spot: helping startups hire. The Sourcery’s team has now doubled while helping more than 350 companies hire hundreds of top candidates, many of whom have become hiring managers themselves.


Leanne Bowes


Leanne splits her time between technical recruiting and touring the world as a bass player for various artists. While the two might not seem related at first glance, she’s been able to learn skills from the former that apply to the latter– and vice versa. She recruits both from her home office and from the road, so she just might be interviewing you from a tour bus.

With our mission driven culture, we’re turning traditional recruiting on it’s head. I’ve had a 19 year crazy journey influencing and building dynamic sales and recruiting engines for Fortune 1000 and private specialized staffing organizations. Driving The Sourcery’s RaaS model is the greatest challenge and opportunity in my career! Proud father of two girls; I love being a GIRL DAD. Pulled out a Marketing Degree from Butler University, so I never stray too far from a TV when my Bulldogs are playing basketball. Born in The Netherlands, and raised in the Bay Area, I have a love for travel and new adventures. ”

Victoria Velez

Director of Operations

Prior to joining The Sourcery, Victoria worked in Operations for ESPN Latin America. She loves working behind the scenes in Operations, helping The Sourcery be a lean, mean, recruiting machine. Having graduated from the University of Miami, she continues to be a ‘Canes fan even if she doesn’t always know what is going on in the game. She loves hanging out with her family and energetic silky terrier in sunny Miami.
